The Cleverest of All Wizards

I realized today that I have written so little about one of my (smaller) best friends! For those that don't know, this is Merlin.

I got him a few months ago with Choa noona, and he's gotten so big since I first brought him home. I named him Merlin since he was the greatest wizard of all time, and he was a Slytherin. I do believe that Merlin is the most fitting name I could give my rat. Already he's learned to respond to his name, bring me pencils that I request for, throw away wads of paper, and apparently how to escape from his cage and crawl onto my face while I'm asleep because he wants treats. He's a very clever one.
He's also a very good listener, and he often listens to me talk to no one in particular when I'm sketching in my room alone. I never thought having a rat could be so calming.
I can't wait for it to get warm outside again so I can set up his stuff outside in the yard so he can roam around a bit in the grass. It's his favorite.
